Drywall Repair
Holes, Cracks and Water Damage — Patched So You Can’t Find Them
A drywall repair succeeds or fails on one question: can you find it afterward? Anyone can fill a hole. Blending the patch — flush plane, matched texture, paint feathered into the surrounding wall — is the actual job, and it’s what we’ve built a reputation on across the metro.
What’s Included
Every project starts with a free on-site estimate and a written scope. Here’s what drywall repair looks like when we do it:
To get started, use our online form or call (612) 816-5333.
- Holes of every size
Doorknob holes, anchor damage, and full sheet replacement after plumbing or electrical work — backed, patched and finished flush.
- Crack repair that lasts
Cracks at seams and corners re-taped and refinished, not just smeared over to reopen next season. Recurring structural cracks get diagnosed, not hidden.
- Water damage restoration
Stained, sagging or crumbling board cut back to sound material and replaced — after confirming the leak itself is fixed. We don’t seal moisture problems behind new drywall.
- Texture and paint blending
Knockdown, orange peel, splatter or smooth — matched so the repair disappears into the wall or ceiling around it.

Drywall Repair — Common Questions
How fast can you get to a small repair?
Most small repairs are scheduled within the week. Repairs usually take one to three visits because joint compound needs to dry between coats — a same-day ‘one and done’ patch is usually a visible patch.
Is the repair going to be visible?
Our standard is that it isn’t. Texture matching is the step that defeats most handymen and it’s the step we spend the most time on. Fresh paint over the repair area, feathered or wall-to-wall, completes the blend.
Do you handle insurance-related water damage repairs?
Yes. We document the damage, scope the repair in writing, and work with what your adjuster needs. We’ll also tell you plainly if the board can be saved rather than replaced.

Junior and his crew were great to work with on our office redesign. They got us our estimate same day and gave a great price. The hardworking crew got the job done faster than I expected, and it also came out perfectly. We will be using him and his team again in the future.
I hired Home Drywall and Painting to finish my three-car garage starting from bare studs, and they did an outstanding job. They handled insulation, full sheetrock installation, mudding and taping, and painting — all in-house. What normally would take multiple contractors was completed by one company, which made the process smooth and efficient.
After my first contractor jerked me around for 2 weeks with excuses, the team at Home Drywall & Painting became my Plan B. Jessica took my call, sent me a proposal and had me booked next day. Adam had his team dispatched and they finished in about 3.5 hours. They had one hiccup during install, but they resolved the issue and made it right. Everyone was respectful and polite. The end price was exactly what I was quoted. Happy to recommend.
They were very respectful of our home and our schedule, did an absolutely beautiful job — and communicated daily about what to expect. A plumbing water damage mishap to our finished lower level meant repairing the entire ceiling: skim, sand, re-texture, paint — plus removal and reinstallation of ceiling fans, a chandelier, can lights, speakers and vents. Gerid and the Home Drywall team also offered a very competitive price.
