Twin Cities Drywall Services
Hanging, Taping, Texturing and Repair — All In-House
When Twin Cities homeowners need drywall work that disappears into the wall, they call us. We hang, tape, texture, and finish every project with our own crews — no subcontractors passing your home between them — and we’ve been doing it across the metro since 2007.
Our Full-Service Drywall Process
The key to a wall you never notice again? It all starts here.
To get a free estimate — and a color consultation if paint is part of the project — use our online form or call (612) 816-5333.
Contact us
The process starts with scheduling an estimate. You’ll walk us through the damage or the project scope, talk through your goals and timeline, and ask whatever you need to. You should never be guessing about what comes next.
Schedule an on-site assessment
Every drywall job is different, so an in-person walkthrough matters. We inspect the area, check for moisture or structural issues behind the surface, and recommend the repair or build that’s actually right for your home.
Review the estimate
Before anything begins, you get a written estimate covering scope, materials, timeline, and price. No line items appear later that weren’t discussed up front.
Prepare the work area
On project day, our crew masks and protects your floors, furniture, and adjoining rooms before a single sheet comes off the truck. Drywall dust travels; containment is part of the job, not an afterthought.
Hang, tape and finish
Depending on scope, this covers hanging sheetrock, taping seams, three coats of mud, sanding, and matching your existing texture — knockdown, orange peel, splatter, or smooth. Some finishes need multiple visits so each coat cures properly. Rushing it is how patches end up visible.
Prime and paint
The finished surface is primed and, if painting is part of the scope, painted to blend into the surrounding wall or ceiling. The goal is a room where nobody can point to where the work happened.
Walk the finished project
We aren’t done until you’re satisfied. We review the completed work together, clean up fully, and explain the warranty coverage so you know exactly where you stand months from now.

Why Hire a Twin Cities Drywall Contractor?
Most homeowners aren’t worried about the drywall itself. They’re worried about everything that comes with hiring a contractor — whether the patch will blend, whether the crew shows up, whether the dust ends up in every room of the house. If you’ve been burned before, we want to put those concerns to rest.
When you work with our team, here’s what you get:
- High-quality craftsmanship, never from subcontractors.
Our own in-house employees complete every project. We invest in training our crews in trade technique, jobsite conduct and customer service, and we don’t hand your home to a rotating cast of subs.
- Lasting results you will love.
We stand behind our work in writing. If something isn’t right after we’ve gone, we come back and correct it — no argument about whose responsibility it was.
- Fair, transparent pricing.
Our standards are high and our pricing is straightforward. You get a written scope with the price attached, and options at different price points where they genuinely exist.
- Local knowledge that matters here.
Minnesota’s climate is hard on buildings. Freeze-thaw cycles, humid summers and long heating seasons all change what holds up. We’ve worked in this metro since 2007 and it shapes what we recommend.
- A reputation you can check yourself.
628+ Google reviews at a 4.8-star average, plus a long trail of repeat customers and referrals across the metro. Read them before you call us.

Drywall Services — Common Questions
How long does a drywall repair take?
A single small patch is often done in one visit. Larger repairs usually need two or three, because joint compound has to dry fully between coats and matching an existing texture takes a careful eye. We’ll give you a realistic schedule in the estimate rather than an optimistic one.
Can you match my existing ceiling or wall texture?
Yes. Knockdown, orange peel, splatter, stomp, and smooth Level 5 finishes are all in our regular rotation. Texture matching is the part most contractors get wrong, and it’s the part we spend the most time on.
How much dust will this create?
Less than you’re expecting. We mask openings, use containment, and vacuum-sand where the job allows. Full-house dust is a sign of a crew cutting corners on prep.

Junior and his crew were great to work with on our office redesign. They got us our estimate same day and gave a great price. The hardworking crew got the job done faster than I expected, and it also came out perfectly. We will be using him and his team again in the future.
I hired Home Drywall and Painting to finish my three-car garage starting from bare studs, and they did an outstanding job. They handled insulation, full sheetrock installation, mudding and taping, and painting — all in-house. What normally would take multiple contractors was completed by one company, which made the process smooth and efficient.
After my first contractor jerked me around for 2 weeks with excuses, the team at Home Drywall & Painting became my Plan B. Jessica took my call, sent me a proposal and had me booked next day. Adam had his team dispatched and they finished in about 3.5 hours. They had one hiccup during install, but they resolved the issue and made it right. Everyone was respectful and polite. The end price was exactly what I was quoted. Happy to recommend.
They were very respectful of our home and our schedule, did an absolutely beautiful job — and communicated daily about what to expect. A plumbing water damage mishap to our finished lower level meant repairing the entire ceiling: skim, sand, re-texture, paint — plus removal and reinstallation of ceiling fans, a chandelier, can lights, speakers and vents. Gerid and the Home Drywall team also offered a very competitive price.
