Twin Cities Painting Services
Interior and Exterior Painting Built to Last Minnesota Weather
Paint is the part of the job everyone sees and prep is the part that determines how long it lasts. We do both with our own crews — interior repaints, full exteriors, cabinets, trim, ceilings and commercial spaces — across the Twin Cities metro.
Our Full-Service Painting Process
A finish that holds up starts long before the first coat.
To get a free estimate — and a color consultation if paint is part of the project — use our online form or call (612) 816-5333.
Contact us
Schedule an estimate. Walk us through the rooms or the elevations, your color ideas, and your timeline. Bring your questions — the estimate is the right time for them.
Schedule an on-site walkthrough
We measure, inspect surfaces for failing paint, moisture, caulk gaps or rot, and flag anything that needs repair before painting. Painting over a problem hides it for one season.
Review the estimate and colors
You get a written scope: surfaces included, prep, number of coats, products, and price. If you want help choosing colors, our color consultation is part of the conversation, not an upsell.
Protect the space
Furniture is moved and covered, floors are protected, landscaping is shielded on exteriors, and hardware comes off rather than getting taped around.
Prep the surfaces
Scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and spot-priming. This is where the hours go and where the difference between a three-year paint job and a ten-year one is decided.
Apply the finish
Premium coatings applied by brush, roller or spray depending on the surface, in the number of coats the estimate specified — not the number that fits the schedule.
Final walkthrough
We walk every room or elevation with you, punch-list anything you spot, clean up fully, and go over the warranty before we leave.

Why Hire a Twin Cities Painting Contractor?
Minnesota is hard on paint. Freeze-thaw cycles, humid summers, and long winters punish exteriors and shorten the life of a job that skipped prep. Local experience isn’t a marketing line here — it changes which products go on your house and when the work gets scheduled.
When you work with our team, here’s what you get:
- High-quality craftsmanship, never from subcontractors.
Our own in-house employees complete every project. We invest in training our crews in trade technique, jobsite conduct and customer service, and we don’t hand your home to a rotating cast of subs.
- Lasting results you will love.
We stand behind our work in writing. If something isn’t right after we’ve gone, we come back and correct it — no argument about whose responsibility it was.
- Fair, transparent pricing.
Our standards are high and our pricing is straightforward. You get a written scope with the price attached, and options at different price points where they genuinely exist.
- Local knowledge that matters here.
Minnesota’s climate is hard on buildings. Freeze-thaw cycles, humid summers and long heating seasons all change what holds up. We’ve worked in this metro since 2007 and it shapes what we recommend.
- A reputation you can check yourself.

Painting Services — Common Questions
When is the best time to paint an exterior in Minnesota?
Generally late spring through early fall, when temperatures stay reliably above the product’s minimum application range overnight. We schedule exteriors around the weather rather than against it.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move and cover what’s in the room as part of the job. We’ll ask you to handle valuables, electronics, and anything fragile or irreplaceable.
How many coats will you apply?
Whatever the surface and color change require — usually two, sometimes three over drastic color changes or bare repairs. The number is written into your estimate before we start.

Junior and his crew were great to work with on our office redesign. They got us our estimate same day and gave a great price. The hardworking crew got the job done faster than I expected, and it also came out perfectly. We will be using him and his team again in the future.
I hired Home Drywall and Painting to finish my three-car garage starting from bare studs, and they did an outstanding job. They handled insulation, full sheetrock installation, mudding and taping, and painting — all in-house. What normally would take multiple contractors was completed by one company, which made the process smooth and efficient.
After my first contractor jerked me around for 2 weeks with excuses, the team at Home Drywall & Painting became my Plan B. Jessica took my call, sent me a proposal and had me booked next day. Adam had his team dispatched and they finished in about 3.5 hours. They had one hiccup during install, but they resolved the issue and made it right. Everyone was respectful and polite. The end price was exactly what I was quoted. Happy to recommend.
They were very respectful of our home and our schedule, did an absolutely beautiful job — and communicated daily about what to expect. A plumbing water damage mishap to our finished lower level meant repairing the entire ceiling: skim, sand, re-texture, paint — plus removal and reinstallation of ceiling fans, a chandelier, can lights, speakers and vents. Gerid and the Home Drywall team also offered a very competitive price.
